About the wine
The “Galil Yiron” a flagship wine the “Galil Mountain Winery” is a cuvée of grapes from the Golan Heights. It consists of a large part of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot as well as some Syrah and Petit Verdot. A shiny Bordeaux color with a robust character, presented by abundant aromas of berries, cherries and plum marmalade on a spiced background of vanilla, clove and roasted oak. The balanced, full-bodied wine has a long and classic finish. Under suitable conditions, the wine can be stored for 7 years or even more. The “Galil Yiron” is an excellent addition to flavored dishes such as juicy, oven-roasted beef, steak or veal with seasoned sauces.
