Tasting note
Bright ruby red with a subtle purple touch. On the nose, spicy, concentrated sugar cherries, some plum, star anise. Smooth and balanced on the palate, has fine melting and closely woven tannin, with firm pressure on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised beef, game dishes, aged cheese or pasta with truffles and mushrooms. It also accompanies hearty dishes such as rack of lamb and wild boar and brings out their aromas wonderfully.
