About the wine
This wine is made from Sangiovese grapes and, after pressing, is stored in French oak barrels for 16 months. It is then bottled and rested in the cellar for a further 6 months. Gagliole is characterized by an excellent structure and balance, with a dense and fine tannin.
Tasting note
Dense and opulent with intense aromas of cherries, blackberries, dried herbs and licorice. Fine fruit on the palate too with subtle tobacco notes and delicious roasted aromas of French barrique, fine and elegant tannin, with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meat dishes, pasta, terrines
Vinification
The Gagliole contains Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. After pressing, it is stored in French oak barriques for 16 months, bottled and then stored in the cellar for six months. Gagliole is a very well-structured, balanced wine with dense, fine tannins.
