About the wine
Thomas and Monika Bär acquired the over 1000 year old Gagliö winery in 1990, which is located near Castellina in Chianti. A few years later, La Valletta was added on the Conca d'Oro, the golden slope below Panzano. Harvesting by hand and rigorous selection, in addition to cutting-edge technology, is characteristic of the Gagliole winery.

Tasting note
White assemblage This wine is made from Procanico (related to Trebbiano), Malvasia and Chardonnay grapes. The aging takes place over a longer period of time in new French oak barrels. The Gagliole Bianco is a wine with a fruity bouquet of great intensity and fineness. To develop its full spectrum of aromas, it should not be drunk too cold.
Culinary recommendation
The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now - 2021. Flaschenpost team recommends you to go with fish with herbs, soft cheese and truffles.
