Tasting note
Ruby red color. This red wine bewitches with aromas of ripe red cherries, blueberries and cassis as well as some licorice and Mediterranean herbs. Dry on the palate with soft tannins and balanced acidity. A wonderful drinking flow and the lingering aftertaste round off the gourmet experience.
Vinification
The fully ripe grapes are completely destemmed and then subjected to a long maceration period before the twelve-day fermentation begins. The wine is stored in double-filled French barriques for six months before it is bottled.
