About the wine
The Marisa Cuomo winery is located on the beautiful Amalfi Coast between Positano and Amalfi at around 500 meters above sea level. Marisa Cuomo and her husband Andrea Ferraioli produce a total of six different wines on 10 hectares. The white Falanghina variety is the winery's lead variety. The grapes benefit from the south-facing position and the microclimate, which results from the effects of the sea and the rocky hilly landscape. The wines mature in a very beautiful cellar, which is located within a huge rock. The tireless quest for perfection and quality awareness make Cantina Marisa Cuomo a leading winery in Italy.

Tasting note
Light straw yellow, with aromas of green apple, Amalfi lemon, grapefruit and fresh herbs (basil, mint). The palate is dry and with refreshing, juicy acidity, which underlines the citrus notes on the persistent finish.
Vinification
The selected grapes are destemmed after the late harvest and gently pressed after a cool maceration period. Fermentation is then initiated with the help of selected yeasts and fermented in steel tanks for 20 to 30 days at a controlled temperature. The wine is stored in steel tanks for four months before it is bottled.
