Tasting note
Strong purple. Beautiful aromas on the nose, which range from violets, fine spices to ripe red-berry fruits such as raspberries and cherries as well as noble vanilla notes. Pleasant tannins, rich, soft and balanced on the palate, with a nice finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meats, hard cheeses and various game dishes.
Vinification
Hand-picked, partly dried grapes “appassimento”. Ageing for several months in French oak barrels.
