About the wine
You will definitely have a lot of fun with the delicious FSF Vinho Regional Península de Setúbal, which was produced in 2014. The winemaker from the Portuguese winery José Maria Da Fonseca has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny landscape in Terras do Sado.

Tasting note
Dark cherry red. The bouquet shines with pure currant and blackberry aromas, which emerge smoothly and delicately from the glass. The body has depth, the intense cassis taste is also nicely shaped down to the defined finish, some dark chocolate and pepper.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, chocolate, grill and lamb.
Vinification
The grapes are mashed in open tanks, fermentation with skins for six days at a controlled temperature of 28 °C. Before the end of the alcoholic fermentation, transfer to barrels, bâtonnage for three months. The wine is bottled unfiltered and can yield depot. Ageing: Eight months in new French oak barrels.
