About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this provocative Sauvignon Blanc 2019 — Freixo Terroir Branco Alentejo DOC. Sunny and picturesque Alentejo landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Heredate do Freixo conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Sauvignon Blanc is excellent to serve with white meat or fish.

Tasting note
Light yellow color. Soft aroma, with notes of pears and fresh apricots. On the palate, a nice volume characterized by a pleasant freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish dishes, sushi and sashimi as well as salads, white and red grilled meats.
Vinification
30% in French oak barrels. Then 2-month batonnage, fermentation and aging in oak barrels.
