About the wine
The winery has existed since 1808, but it wasn't until the construction of a completely underground winery (the only one in Europe) that a new wind came into the old company. Production was consistently switched to quality viticulture. The aim is to produce plants with finesse, transparency and complexity, for which the slopes at 450 meters altitude provide the ideal conditions. 26 ha of vines are in yield (11 ha white, 15 ha red). In addition to French noble vines, the variety table also includes local varieties, which, with their quality in no way following, are a perfect complement.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red robe with an aroma of ripe, red fruits with earthy accents. On the palate, notes of wild berries, pepper and spices surprise. Lively and complex with fine tannins and a long, racy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Traditional Portuguese meat and fish dishes as well as fusion cuisine.
Vinification
12 months in French oak barrels.
