Tasting note
When tasted, this wine impresses with its deep ruby red color and tempting cherry aromas on the nose, accompanied by delicate raspberry nuances. On the palate, it develops with a spicy taste and a mild and pleasant tannic acid.

Vinification
Zweigelt thrives in the vineyards around Frauenkirchen. The soil is rich in quartz and iron-rich gravel, while the subsoil is characterized by gravel and sand. Fermentation takes place together with the grape skins to optimally extract the rich red colors and soft tannins. During this process, the juice is gently pumped over the pomace hat to ensure ideal leaching of color and tannins. After two weeks of fermentation, the young wine is separated from the skins and transferred to traditional wooden barrels. There, the acid breaks down naturally as a result of malolactic fermentation.
