Tasting note
In the best vintages, the Azienda Antica Fratta produces a cuvée Essence Brut with an indication of the year. It consists of 90% Chardonnay, the rest of white-pressed Pinot Nero. The aging on the yeast begins 6 months after the harvest and lasts at least 30 months; the wine rests in the cellar for a further 6 months before being released for sale. The perlage is extremely delicate. The bouquet shows a great depth of aroma and has an invigorating fresh effect.
