About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant sparkling wine — Franciacorta Brut Electo DOCG. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Majolini masteres this sparkling wine in the beautiful and blooming landscape of Lombardy. Tasting note
Golden yellow, complex, roasted aromas, foaming, balanced
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with warm seafood, fish risotti and white meats.
Vinification
The grapes (Chardonnay approx. 80%, Pinot Nero approx. 20%) are at the perfect level of maturation with a slight acidity, are vinified separately and fermented at around 16-18 degrees C. Some are fermented and matured in small wooden vats. In spring, a commission of experts will define the vintage's cuvée. The wine remains in the bottle in contact with the yeast for at least 44 months. The Electo is elegant and sophisticated and time will tell whether it is one of the greats of Franciacorta.
