Tasting note
Dark, almost black ruby red, impenetrable. On the nose, the use of wood is very dominant: chocolate, licorice, lots of ripe cassis, light spice. Powerful and rich on the palate, has a lot of substance and builds up its large body, a lot of chocolate and malt in the middle, something still needs to be found.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised veal, lamb chops, truffle pasta, aged pecorino.
