About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this powerful Rabigato 2019 — Flor de S. José Branco Douro DOC. The winemaker from the Quinta De São José winery greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Rabigato is very good to serve with spaghetti Napoli or vegetable soup.

Tasting note
A remarkably fresh and elegant cuvée in a citrus-coloured robe. The floral and mildly tropical notes are joined by mineral accents after some ventilation. Fine and complex on the palate, with a distinctive fruit character and a nice balance between alcohol, acidity and fruit. The aftertaste is delicate and long-lasting.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish dishes and pasta.

6 months on yeast.
