About the wine
Cheeky, playful and full of character: An aromatic piedirosso with spirit — like a flapper Girl from the 1920s. Cherries and berries dance in the glass. Campania's volcanic soil gives it mineral depth — the perfect mix of character and charm. 99 points from Luca Maroni speak for themselves.
Tasting note
Ruby red with purple reflections, hints of red fruits such as cherry and black cherry to black currant. On the palate, intense spices, wild blackberries with a cherry puree aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with “gourmet” pizzas, legume soups, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully harvested at the end of October when they have reached optimal ripeness. The vinification takes place first through alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in barriques, where the wine also develops fine balsamic notes. It then ages in the bottle for a further six months to fully reveal its aromas.
