About the wine
The estate was managed as a mixed farm by Daniel Marugg Sr. From 1976, he concentrated on viticulture. After training as a winemaker, Daniel Marugg Jr. took over the business together with his wife Monika in 1995. Since 1998, the wines have been marketed under the name Bovel. It's hard to believe when you have the almost two-meter Grisons giant Daniel Marugg standing in front of you. He can handle Pinot Noir really carefully! Hardly anyone uses the new wood from the barriques as subtly and skilfully as he does, who fully focuses on finesse and substance.
