Tasting note
The color shows a deep ruby red with a black core. The scent is very complex, with notes of dark berries, fine spiciness and cocoa aromas. Convincing and compact on the palate. A full-bodied powerhouse, almost massive, but very balanced.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2024. Flaschenpost team recommends this Five BX Blend Diverse to pizza with mushrooms, ribeye steak and Gruyère burger.
Vinification
The wine is stored in 100% new French oak barrels for 18 months. The extraction is carried out meticulously and the balance between extract and freshness is sought. The wine is only slightly filtered and then stored in the winery cellar for 3 years so that it can be enjoyed slightly matured. However, the “Five” can easily mature for up to 20 years.
