Tasting note
The clay and calcareous soils, the low yields of the old vines and the maturation in new barrels for 18 months give this “Grand Cru” its strong ruby red color and its beautiful density. On the nose, it is intense and complex with notes of blackberries, cassis and roasted aromas. A strong, velvety, sweet wine with elegant tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meats, “butchers” and spicy cheese.
