About the wine
Bodegas Faustino was founded in Oyón in Rioja Alavesa in 1861 and is one of the most renowned Spanish wineries. It is known in particular for its long-storable red wines, but with the Faustino V Verdejo Vendimia Nocturna 2024, it also shows its expertise in the area of fresh white wines. The grapes are harvested at night to optimally preserve their freshness. The result is a characterful Verdejo from the D.O. Rueda, with aromatic intensity and remarkable structure.

Tasting note
Color: Bright golden yellow with greenish reflections. Nose: Distinctive aromas of tropical fruits (e.g. pineapple), ripe stone fruits, citrus zests and a touch of herbal spice. Palate: Powerful and structured start with notes of tropical fruits, apple and pear. The aging on fine yeast provides a creamy texture and a delicate, nutty note.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seafood, grilled fish, fresh summer salads or soft cheeses.
