About the wine
Power and character from Portugal. In Fernando Pó, arguably the best growing region on the Portuguese Setúbal peninsula south of Lisbon, winemaker Jaime Quendera vinifies strong and expressive wines at the Casa Ermelinda Freitas winery. The wines “Fat Baron” are a joint effort of Quendera and Baron van Zeller, the owner of the famous port wine house Quinta de Noval. The name “Fat Baron” is not due to the Baron's body fullness, but to his preference for full-bodied wines.

Tasting note
Its fine amber yellow creates a good atmosphere at the table. You won't find this color in any color catalog. The playful aromas of the Fat Baron Reserva Branco Vinho Regional of passion fruit, peach and almond express a lot of complexity with a very individual structure. Next, the fruity nuances of lemon, lime and apple reveal their own character. A fruity white wine with a slender body and dominant acidity, which unfolds its complex structure on the tongue and palate. This top wine received the award: Gerstl: 17/20.
