Étreinte IGP Val de Loire Blanc 2019 - Domaine Andrée

This is a brand-new white wine from Stéphane, made from the rare Grolleau Gris grape variety. Actually a rather ridiculed variety that is used in the region primarily to produce sparkling wine and as a blending partner for rosé. In Stéphane's hands, however, this “wallflower” has become a true beauty. On the nose, there are inviting aromas of white peach, Nashi pear, grapefruits and delicate exotic fruits, surrounded by notes of white flowers and some anise. On the palate with an elegant structure, fresh and fruity with great freshness and fine minerality in the finish.
