Tasting note
The open bouquet shimmers, but the aroma of red berries and a delicate pomegranate scent dominate. Good acidity and strong tannins form the basis for the ripe fruit. The fact that the wine still has reserves is reflected in the cocoa notes and tannins in the persistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, venison, lamb
Vinification
The grapes are mashed and thoroughly mixed with the feet, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in the lagar. Ageing: 18 months in new and used French oak barrels, 12 months of bottle aging.
