About the wine
On the nose, distinctive notes of wild berries and cherries combined with elegant impressions of spice, vanilla and cocoa. Harmonious and enveloping. Sumptuous and incredibly velvety tannins. The wine is really tasty, with an almost endless finish and rich in spicy and fruit aromas.

Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled red meat and mature cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes, harvested at the right degree of maturity, dry for about 25/30 days in the Fruttaia, the drying room. They are then destemmed and vinified in red with traditional mixing in the pomace hat to achieve maximum extraction from the skins. This is followed by about 12 months of careful levage in second and third use French barriques.
