Tasting note
With this wine, Stéphane Erissé proves what you can get out of the rather ridiculed Grolleau grape variety. Wonderfully inviting nose with aromas of red and blue berries, juicy cherries and plums, underlined with fine floral-spicy notes of blooming herbs, some lilac and a touch of tobacco. The palate has a good density of silky tannins as well as an unbelievable juicy, fruity freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with French specialities such as pies, rillettes de canard and jambon noir de Bigorre. But also with hearty stews and wild fowl.
