Enchanting and sunny landscapes in Mendoza give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Argentinian winery Rutini Wines conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Encuentro stands for the coming together of the 5 traditional Bordeaux grape varieties from 7 different locations. Deep ruby red. Aromas of ripe red fruits, lavender and violets from Malbec, mint and licorice from Petit Verdot, fresh plums and blackberries typical of Merlot and spicy notes of black and red pepper from the two Cabernets. A delicate combination of chocolate, tobacco, coffee and vanilla from maturation into new barrels. On the palate, the wine is very supple and full of velvety, elegant tannins with a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with grilled beef and lamb, as well as game dishes and hard cheeses.
Vinification
The wine undergoes biological acid degradation and is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
