About the wine
The Eguren family produces world-class Spanish wines at the Sierra Cantabria, Senorio San Vicente and Vinedos de Paganos wineries in the D.O.C. Rioja and the Teso la Monja winery in the D.O. Toro. Tasting note
El Puntido impresses with its presentation of power and elegance, silky tannins, as well as its fully ripe, multi-layered fruit and distinctive minerality. Deep dark garnet, lined with purple with a complex bouquet of ripe black cherries, cassis, roasted coffee beans and balsamic notes. The palate is dominated by dark, freshly picked, fully ripe wild berries. This taste experience is accompanied by fine caramel, chestnut and dark chocolate notes. In the long-lasting finale, it shows great refinement and depth with already well-integrated melting tannins. He will continue to develop positively over the next few years and will be very enjoyable for another 10 to 12 years.

Vinification
Selective reading and double sorting by hand. Temperature-controlled fermentation, three-week maceration in stainless steel tanks, aging for 28 months in new French barriques.
