Eitelsbacher Karthäuserhofberg Riesling Auslese 2003 - Karthäuserhof

The historic and wonderfully aged Riesling selection from Karthäuserhof smells of fully ripe exotic fruits, mint and honeycomb. A whiff of noble botrytis resonates. The yellow fruit texture is also evident on the palate and is reminiscent of juicy, fully ripe pineapples and Spanish oranges, which are accompanied by Mediterranean herbs. The selection is characterized by generous richness, juicy acidity and an excellent balance between sweetness and acidity. The extremely long aftertaste makes it an excellent wine that shines as a soloist but also goes well with spicy Asian dishes. His best partner, however, are fruity desserts!
