About the wine
The winery is managed by the Zahel family for the 4th generation. After a short career as a racing driver, Richard Zahel joined the family business in 1989. Together with his nephew, Alexander Zahel, who takes care of sales, they manage the winery with great success. 25 hectares of vines are cultivated within the city limits in all wine-growing zones of Vienna.

Tasting note
A truly wild Grüner Veltliner: unfiltered and unembellished, it flirts with notes of apple rings, dried pineapple and sake, is herbaceous, acidic and salty and leaves a bitter herb on the finish. Not classic at all and therefore a must for fans of the Austrian prime grape variety.
