About the wine
The egomei of Finca Egomei reflects the passion and care of the winery, which is located in picturesque Rioja Oriental. The Tempranillo and Graciano grapes grow here on 120 hectares and have been cultivated to the highest standards since 1975. The wine ages in French Allier oak barrels, giving it a harmonious depth and elegant notes of dark fruits and spices. An expressive Rioja with a long, balanced aftertaste.

Tasting note
This full-bodied garnet red wine convinces with strong aromas of blackberry, cassis and currant, as well as cocoa and vanilla aspects as well as hints of clove and licorice. A beautiful freshness, lively tannins and a very soft, full-bodied and incredibly harmonious body delight the palate, while a long, lasting finish rounds off the enjoyment.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with intensive, hearty dishes. It goes particularly well with braised lamb, grilled beef and hearty game dishes, which complement its aromas of dark fruits and spices. Aged Manchego or strong blue cheese also wonderfully accentuate the elegant wood notes of the wine. For a vegetarian option, try a risotto with mushrooms or roasted vegetables to underline the depth and structure of the wine
