About the wine
Made from Nebbiolo grapes, which are called Chiavennasca here, and from local and historic grape varieties such as Pignola and Rossola. According to production regulations, Valtellina Superiore D.O.C.G. must mature for at least 24 months, including at least 12 months in oak barrels, before it is put on the market.

Tasting note
Bright ruby red color that tends towards garnet red as it matures. Fruity bouquet with notes of raspberries and light violet notes. Harmonious, spicy, persistent and elegant taste.
