About the wine
The Netzl family winery is located in Göttlesbrunn, right in the heart of the Carnuntum wine-growing region. The wines that are vinified here are of the highest quality, which is also regularly confirmed by the trade press. The red wine content is 80% - the wines are complex, juicy and firmly structured, full of elegance and finesse. The white wines impress with their clear fruit and freshness. The motto of the friendly family is Tradition Generation Innovation.

Tasting note
Dark dense ruby garnet with purple reflections. Dark chocolate, ripe plums and shades of light tobacco. Juicy and powerful on the palate. Black cherry, present but soft tannins, ends elegantly and with a fine extract sweetness.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-20°C. The recommended consumption phase of this wine is in the following period: 2012-2017. Flaschenpost team is recommended with poultry, slightly spicy, red meat and duck.
Vinification
The highly ripe grapes are selected again after manual harvesting in the cellar. The must ferments for 3 weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at around 30° C. The mash cake is pumped over several times a day. This results in optimal color, flavor and tannin extraction. After gentle pressing, malolactic acid degradation takes place in 1/3 new and 2/3 used barriques. Bottled after 15 months of aging.
