About the wine
Edizone Cinque Autoctoni is an unfiltered wine made from 5 typical southern Italian grape varieties: Montepulciano, Primitivo, Sangiovese, Negroamaro and Malvasia. It has been convincing for years with its high level of quality and is therefore one of the most sought-after wines from southern Italy. With the gift set consisting of a magnum bottle and various accessories such as a spout, corkscrew, thermometer, nothing stands in the way of perfect enjoyment.
Tasting note
Very dense dark red with a black core, distinctive viscosity. Dense aromas of cassis and cherry are combined with roasty, smoky notes. A touch of fresh herbs sets a nice accent. Long, full-bodied drink, creamy, velvety on the palate. Present, youthful tannins, subtle acidity, wonderfully aromatic in the aftertaste. A complex, rich and full-bodied wine of high quality.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with entrecote Madagascar, lamb loaf with mustard and pepper sauce, roast beef served with Maltaise sauce, aged white cheese.
