Tasting note
On the nose, complex aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, rose petals, violets, fine spices and delicate wood nuances. Powerful and precise on the palate, with intense fruit, silky-fine tannins, lively freshness and elegant length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with venison with wild mushrooms, duck with cherry sauce, truffle dishes or aged Burgundy soft cheese such as Soumaintrain or Ami du Chambertin.
Vinification
Ageing approx. 16-18 months in French barriques (approx. 50% new)
