About the wine

In 2001, the still young Jorge Moreira was able to fulfill his dream of owning his own winery. And it really is a dream. The winery was completely designed by him and the architecture meets the requirements of wine alone. From grapes to finished wine, no pumping is necessary; all steps can be completed using gravity alone. And this is also Jorge Moreira's credo. The wine should reflect the fantastic terroir of the winery and avoid technical interventions where possible; organic farming goes without saying. The success was not long in coming. Jorge Moreira has already been named Portugal's best winemaker several times and his wines are among the most refined in the entire Douro Valley.
