About the wine
Septentria is a provider (or label/négociant) in the Rhône Valley. The “Duo” cuvée mainly combines Syrah with a small amount of grenache, in the style of a South-Rhône red wine. The aim is an easier to access, fruity red wine with sufficient structure — ideal for everyday use or convivial evenings.

Tasting note
Color: deep, dark ruby red — typical of a concentrated Rhône red wine. Nose: ripe red fruits (raspberry, cherry, morelle), sometimes with fine spicy and slightly peppery notes. Palate: fresh, fruity start, strong body, velvety tannins, good structure and spicy finish. Grenache brings roundness, Syrah depth and intensity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with charcuterie, grilled or braised red meat, game, cheese, Mediterranean dishes.
