About the wine
Blooming and fertile landscapes in Sicily give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantine Cellaro conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Nerello is excellent to serve with beef goulash or Sicilian pasta dishes.

Tasting note
Bright, vivid ruby red in the glass. On the nose, an explosion of aromas of red fruits, red flowers and spices. Full-bodied, soft and balanced on the palate with renewed aromas of red fruits. The tannins are balanced with natural residual sugar and a nice freshness. A lovely yet powerful Sicilian who is able to excellently show the harmony of the two autochthonous grape varieties Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta, grilled meat, anchovies, vegetables and aged cheese.
Vinification
6 months in American oak barrels.
