About the wine
The fertile and sunny landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Guidobono conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Treat yourself to the senses with the first-class Due Gelsi Barbera d’Alba DOC from 2015!
Tasting note
The thick purple and the depth of color suggest an intense Barbera. And so the nose reveals aromas of wild berries, sweet cherry, tar, leather, minerality and black chocolate. It is lush and complex on the palate, with well-integrated tannins. Thanks to its balanced structure, elegance and long-lasting finish, this Barbera offers very nice drinking pleasure at a high level.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasto, charcuterie, pasta, cheese, risotto, venison, beef goulash.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels
