This powerful Touriga Franca 2014 — Douro DOC Fabelhaft Reserva is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Dirk Niepoort is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and sunny landscape of the Douro Valley. Tasting note
With its youthful and deep color, the Fabelhaft Reserva shows pure aromas with balsamic notes and dark fruits such as blackberries. On the palate, it has notes of used wood. Its profile is invigorating and mineral, the finish fresh and powerful.

Vinification
Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, while malolactic fermentation then takes place in barriques. Then aged for 15 months in French oak.
