Thomas Vaterlaus, Vinum: “Ripe, extremely complex aromas with red berries, garrique herbs, mint and leather. Extremely powerful on the palate, with powerful but noble, fine-grained tannins and an appropriate acidity. Very long aftertaste. Great, masculine wine with lots of character! ”
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with red meat, game and mature hard cheese. Open the bottle 2 hours before consumption and serve at 18-19°C.
Vinification
Selection of grapes from old vines. Fermented in historic “Lagares” marble, traditionally stepped by foot. Slow aging in new French barriques for one year.
