Tasting note
The aroma transports you to an old farmhouse in the mountains: someone is standing at the stove preserving plums, while another person is lighting a fire in the fireplace. A subtle smokiness from the barrique combines with a beautiful fruity nose of red cherries, plums, and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, a wonderful balance of acidity, soft tannins, and fine vanilla notes. A very well-balanced wine with great depth.
