Tasting note
The Domaine La Roche Rouge 2020 offers an intense bouquet with aromas of blackcurrants, cherries and light spicy notes supported by oak barrel aging. On the palate, the wine has an elegant structure with well-integrated tannins and a nice balance between fruit and spice. The aftertaste is long and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled meat, duck breast or game dishes. It also looks great with aged cheese, such as a hearty Comté or Roquefort.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and then destemmed and fermented. The wine ages in oak barrels.
