About the wine
Domaine des Tourelles was founded in 1868 by French engineer François-Eugène Brunnen and is one of the oldest wineries in Lebanon. The winery is in the Bekaa Valley, halfway between Beirut and Damascus. Domaine des Tourelles is located at 1000 m above sea level and owns over 40 ha of vines. Some of Lebanon's oldest vines are located there. The entire harvest is harvested manually. Today, Domaine des Tourelles is managed by Faouzi Issa. Faouzi studied oenology in Bordeaux and is an aspiring and innovative Lebanese winemaker.

Tasting note
Dense dark red. In the unique terroir of Lebanon, the wine manages to combine elegant floral notes with an explosive spicy character on the nose and on the palate. It is wonderfully balanced and has a long, persistent finish.
