About the wine

The winemaker from the Swiss winery Hammel SA absolutely masters his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the beautiful and sunny countryside of Vaud. Tasting note
Die Aromen des Domaine de Fischer Grand Cru von Blumen und Kräutern drücken viel Charakter mit einer ganz besonderen Struktur aus. Im Anschluss zeigen die fruchtigen Nuancen von Grapefruit, Honig und Limette ihren eigenen Charakter. Leichter Körper und dominante Säure ergeben den Weisswein, welcher im Mund sehr viel Charakter und Klasse zeigt.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, fish from the lake and river, white meat, soft or hard cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand at optimum ripeness and carefully sorted out. The yield of these Chasselas plots is limited in order to produce the best quality. A slow alcoholic fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees in the large oak barrels of the old cellar.
