Tasting note
The range of aromas on the nose is complex and broad. This ranges from yellow fruits to floral notes to fine brioche tones. On the palate, lots of enamel and a silky texture that is contrasted by the animating acidity. The wine ends with a long, mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
A perfect companion to salmon — whether grilled, smoked, steamed or simply marinated raw. Delicious with fish — from grilled sea bream and trout to steamed zander or a fine fillet of monkfish.
Vinification
Bernard Michaut's Premier Cru Chablis is aged 2/3 in stainless steel tanks and 1/3 in oak barrels for 12 months.
