Tasting note
Intense, dense ruby red color with a dark red edge. Diverse and complex nose aromas with plums, cherry jam, tobacco and spice notes. Densely packed structural continuum. A full-bodied wine, with soft, gentle tannins and the aftertaste characterized by cocoa and vanilla notes.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful accompaniment to barbecues, game, pasta and pizza.
Vinification
The “10 vendemmie” is a multi-vintage wine in which each individual selected vintage contributes its character to unite the wine as a harmonious whole. The production takes place in the Solera system. Some of the wine matures in oak barrels for 12 months. The entire lot of approx. 35,000 bottles is bottled once a year. The first bottling contains the vintages 2007 to 2017, then the following year accordingly with the following vintages.
