About the wine
Located on the beautiful south bank of the Danube in Wachau, vineyards are cultivated in the best vineyards around Mautern. A mix of young and old vines, together with the hard work of the Eder family, guarantee wines that stand for naturalness, digestibility and drinking pleasure year after year. Manual harvesting, which is carried out as late as possible and in several rounds, is just as natural as giving the wine enough time to develop. Good things just take time!

Tasting note
Inviting fresh scent of pear and citrus. Juicy structure with a fine yeast note, supported by minerality, medium-weight and very easy to drink.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, fried or baked freshwater fish and white meat.
Vinification
Wachau wines in the cabinet area are called Federspiel here. Manual harvesting, gentle pressing, must clarification using gravity, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aging on fine yeast.
