Tasting note
The city of Lausanne is the proud owner of this steep, slightly higher vineyard complex. The wine is sold at a public auction every year. The Clos des Moines is spectacularly situated on the steep slopes of the Dézaley appellation in Lavaux. This is the only Lavaux member allowed to have the addition “Grand Cru” (along with calamine). This Chasselas smells of linden flowers, some pineapple and flint. On the palate, it is complex, aromatic, creamy and with a fine mineral, long aftertaste.
