About the wine
Walter Massa met with a lot of incomprehension and shaking of his head in the 1980s when he decided to use the autochthonous Timorasso grape variety. It is mainly thanks to him that the variety is now being cultivated again by several winemakers in Piedmont. Walter Massa doesn't think much of fashion trends, but is nevertheless open to innovation. With great commitment and dedication to this variety, he brought in the first harvest of a single-varietal Timorasso in 1987.

Tasting note
On the nose, green apples, citrus zests, fresh cut flowers and a bit nutty. Fine tannins, delicate minerality and a compact body characterize the palate, with aromas of apples, pears, lemon peel and honey notes. Very complex, exciting and persistent aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Unsere Empfehlung: Trinken Sie diesen Weisswein bei leicht gekühlten 8°-10°C. Im folgenden Zeitraum liegt die ideale Genussphase dieses Weins: 2016 - 2025.
Vinification
The grapes (100% Timorasso) are macerated for 60 hours and then pressed. Fermentation at temperatures of 18 to 22°C. The aging takes place partly in small stainless steel tanks and partly in concrete tanks. After bottling, the wines age in the bottle for at least six months before they are sold.
