Tasting note
This Argentinean is a pure tannat. In the glass, it shows the colors violet-black with high viscosity and the finest water edge. On the nose, you can taste the aromas of pumpernickel, cassis, black cherries, plum peels, dried blueberries, smoke and toast. On the palate: meaty and dense, with a subtle sweetness, fine tannins and a great length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, fine cuts of meat, aged cheese
Vinification
Hand harvesting and double selection. 7 days of cold maceration. 10 days of fermentation in small steel tanks at 28 degrees, followed by a further 18 days of maceration after fermentation. Malolactic fermentation and 16 months aging in French barriques (50% new).
